Another voice here requiring SmartSound before I get Studio 14. And yes, I have Sonicfire 5, but with my workflow on some projects (no, I'm not a pro), re-editing video, I would require going back to Sonicfire again and again for the same music, just to readjust the timing. This is especially true where I want slides to change on the beat, and I ...

cuartetto:...I would suggest that both cameras be side by side so the viewing angle doesn't change when you cut from one to the other....
There are times when this might be appropriate, but there are also times when a different angle might be better -- depends on the shot and action. But keep the action going in the same direction on the ...

I generally use imgburn to make a .iso file of the disc, then I use imgburn to make whatever copies I need direct from the .iso file. Among other things, it's faster than firing up Studio, and I can tell imgburn how many copies I want, though it is limited to one at a time -- but it'll ask for the next one, and the next, until you're done.

No, the .iso is a complete disc image, in and of itself. Although I suppose the other user could burn DVDs of each .iso, the import the result from the four discs, then edit the imports into one DVD.

...
Canon has their HV-40 out now, similar to the 30, but with 24p included.

Mmmm, yes, you did say ''mobile'' in your second post, but I guess I've seen so many different uses of that word over the years (including a reference to a laptop computer, a handheld radio, a radio mounted in a car, an art gadget that hangs from the ceiling, etc.) that it didn't register as mobile phone (used to be a car-mounted monstrosity) or ...

VE7AXO:Just a quick note which may or may not apply to this case. VHS has 240 line resolution while S-Video has about 400 lines of resolution. If the tapes being imported into Studio are ''only'' VHS in quality, then it won't make a noticeable difference if you use S-Video or composite connections. If you use a digital camcorder ...

Just so you don't feel totally ignored, here's a response. I had to Google for ''N95 8gb'' to have a clue what your machine is, only to find that it is a Nokia telephone. I sure can't help with that.

Thanks for the information and links, Jon. Note that the estore link gives prices in Pounds, so presumably is British. The U.S. link is here. The other links are helpful in understanding what's available -- thanks much for that.
I see some interesting things there, which might be worth having before long (probably after the first patch), ...
