Thanks for the input JKoch, but I dont think you read the question right. The disc I burned works fine, as I never stopped it. I was just wondering as to whether studio would have downsized the quality to fit on a 25gb disc, even though I was burning to a 50 gb one..To burn a Blu-Ray at its optimum quality you must set the bit rate to 25000. My ...

There dos'nt seem to be a driver for it. I just plug it in and XP finds it. I tried it on both my computers.I'm not sure how to check what the firmware version is. I downloaded the firmware program 1.03 and ran it, and it said current firmware was YL03 and new firmware was YL03. When ever I put a disk in it comes up as a CD-Drive, but it ...

Lol, if I knew the answer to that question I would'nt have asked it. If I try to explore it, it says 'windows cannot read from this disc' Iam using windows xp and the LG GGW-H20L burner

  • blu-ray Never-ending make final file

I made up a blu-ray dvd and set it to create file and burn later. The movie seemed to create ok then it went to 'writing final file' That looked like it was working as well, but it kept on writing untill the hard drive filled up (160 meg free space). I tried it a couple of times and it did the same thing. Here is what I done so far... filmed a ...

  • Re: upgrading a Gateway 830GM to Intel Q6600 Quad new MB and RAM

You should'nt have a problem, though you will still have to run the motherboard cd that comes with it. It will install 2 or 3 programs and everything should run just the same. I have the same CPU. I have made numerous blu-ray movies with no problems

Just use everything I made the blue-ray out of, but burn to dvd instead of blue-ray, or convert the hdv movie to a regular avi or mpeg2 on my computer then re-create the disk, or convert the movie from the camera to SD as I capture the ...
