pd10 is the latest release.

and earlier on, we used to refer to version 400 and 200 as version 4 and 2 respectfully.

Well its been a blast. I've been using Studio since about version 4. I still have version 8 through 14.
I thought with Studio 15 they would have kept with the times and included 3d editing.
Guess I've no option to move to Cyberlinks Powerdirector now.
Maybe back one day when Pinnacle catch up. It's been a great program and fun to use.

Anyone know how I can play these files that pinnacle create from my High def camera.
I have tried numerous programs but most will play without the sound. I tried media player classic but it played the video about 5x too fast.
I don't want to convert them to something else as I want to store the raw footage.
Does Pinnacle have a stand alone ...

Yes turn off background rendering as you are going to delete all the redered files anyway, before making the movie.
If you dont feel comforable deleting all the auxillery files then...go to ' SETUP' then 'Project Preferences' where it says 'folder for auxillary files ' Press 'Delete'. I would pick the last option ...

When you create your movie after transitions etc save it with a custom setting of kbits/sec to 8500,When making your dvd....First check the avi/mpg or whatever movie you are working with is the quality you desire.Turn OFF background rendering.When you have finished working with your film, delete all the auxillery files. The projec format will set itself according to the first clip. If its high def then thats what it will pick.
choose 1080 50i if your in the uk
You should save any movie you make up with transitions etc as HDV2 1080i and it will make an mpg file on your computer. You can later create an HD dvd with that
