Why does more tracks equal higher price?  Why would it necessarily take more of an effort to add video tracks than say adding Chroma keying or key framing to the software? I ask because I'm not a programmer, nor do I play one on TV.

You may be correct Greg. I just find myself leaning toward a programming issue because they've basically given us everything we've asked for in Studio. Particularly with the addition of Boris, Blu-Ray support, and the impending release of the Mercalli Stabilizer plug-in and a bunch of fixes what could we still want from this ''entry level'' ...

No I didn't get an email or message from them about the deleted post. Maybe just a glitch. I thought it odd that it would be removed.   

I replied to Greg's post this morning with some further insights on Studio and made a joke or two about Apple Computer. Not sure what got the post deleted.

I'm convinced the architecture of the Studio Program is such that they couldn't add more video tracks without starting from scratch. The fact that we've all been clamoring for extra video tracks for so long without getting them, or even a reason why not, speaks volumes. They delivered most everything else we've requested - plugins, features, ...
