I will answer your questions tomorrow, but the basis for my problems seems to be the use of pan and zoom. If not useing P&Z I don't seem to have problems. Ian

With Pinnacle open, but not in use:- CPU 4% MEMORY 33% With Pinnacle running in RENDER   CPU 55% MEMORY 59% Regards Ian

Ran the check this morning and the results were:- Utilization without Pinnacle working  3% when working 44% Speed without Pinnacle working  0.79 GHz  when working  3.25GHz In both cases Maximum speed (shown as BASIC SPEED) was3.0 GHz regards Ian

Will Do! I did reset to HD 1280 X 720 and best quality to balanced, then the brown line filled completely, but after about 30 sec's all of the areas above each transition slowly went green then cleared completely, the remaining clips with the pan & zoom have just started to also go green but very very slowly, but at least something is working ...
