I am getting ready to build a new box. I am  trying to figure out which ATI video cards will work best with Liquid 7.2. ATI seems to be making a zillion cards now. Is the HD series (3870,4670,4870.....) compatible with Liquid? Is AGP or PCI recommended?

In Liquid 7.1 I used to use the method decribed in the thread below over at the old Avid Forum to obtain an export which included the AC3 file, along with the M2v, for use in another DVD author software. Is this still possible in 7.2? It's seems that Liquid 7.2 has been designed to defeat any export of the AC3 ...

That's the opposite of my thinking. I have 7.2 working fine. Why should I install  the updates. Just more opportunity for conflicts I would think. This box is a dual boot & when I boot to the editing drive, it's dedicated to Liquid and that's it. I would think it would be hard for the people who write the code for Liquid to canstantly ...

After fresh WXP S2 install, should you apply any of the WXP updates? Last time I did a fresh WXP install there were close to 100 updates from Msft. And if you should install the updates, do it before or after installing Liquid. I have Liquid 7.2 running fine on this box, but left off the updates. I was wondering since 75% of the updates are ...
