So, if a day, I'm in scenario ''c'' (I get a DVD player and TV set that handle progressive scan (1080p)), but my camcorder still records in 1080i at 60i I should not check the ''progressive encoding'' option?  Right?  BIC    

I have an HDV camcorder (Sony HDR-HC9), I sometimes record in DV, sometimes in HDV (1080i at 60i).  When I get to the setting options in the ''Make Movie'' tab I never know if I should check the ''Progressive Encoding'' option.  Does it depend on the format it was recorded in (DV or HDV) or does it depend on which DVD player or TV it's ...

I did few test with Studio 11 and my camcorder.  I used WF2 and WF4: I have to report that the difference in term of quality in the final DVDs is very subtle.  Maybe the DVD generated with WF4 is a bit (maybe ) cleanner.  The difference is not evident ...
