Thank you all for the tips.
@ Paul The second DVD was not part of a set it was actually burned from a old Panasonic Hard drive DVD recorder. Also I like your option of having a DVD player that outputs via firewire! I should get a hold of one of those.
The good news is that after trying DVD Shrink which failed, I downloaded a 14 ...

Mahalo Lew and Paul for the tips! I am 50% there as one of the two DVD did import from the VOB directly from the TS folder. Right now I am trying to see if DVD Shrink will convert the second DVD into a Liquid usable file as well. More to follow.

Anyone have success with DVD ripping software that will work with Liquid? I am also thinking of getting Nero 9 and use its recoding feature. Even Pinnacle Studio if that will get me up and editing.

Aloha all,
I am in a bit of a bind. I have two DVD's from a client (non-protected or non-copyright) and need to bring the video/audio into Liquid. I have tried my favorite DVD to AVI converter and when importing into Liquid, the video clip is a green picon. It plays in the timeline but only the audio plays back and ...

LOL my old signature tag lines goes waaaay back (cuts like butter) and today I just compared my new netbook (used for traveling) CPU speed to my current 17'' notebook and the netbook actually has a stronger processor and more RAM, but it lacks the dedicated video card and resolution.
Having said that I was on the road last ...

All,
Thank you very much for the advice, Yes, I do want the enlarged clip to push all clips to the right automatically when slomo is applied. I would have thought that this should be a function when in film mode. If I remember right this did work before dynamic time warp came in to play. ...

Thanks for the reply. Not the answer I really wanted to hear though. With no push in film mode, this will cause quite a bit of extra work.
Thanks again,
Tony J.
