• Re: Studio 14 and Smartsound - Official reply from Smartsound

Bellford Jack: David Hunt:Having gone round in ever decreasing circles, Yeah... that's exactly my problem with this thread. How much more done, over, and finished can this all possibly get? Then ... not sure why you bother to read and reply. Others still care about this topic and want to post news, so let them.

  • Re: SS Follow up ...

I like the updated look, new content, and latest video plug-ins in S14. However ... I am hooked on SmartSound - extensive music selection (for purchase), it's integrated into the video editing process, and dramatically enhances my end product. Nice avatar Ian. Count me in.

strawberrybob: I've purchased every Studio program from Stu.8 to Stu.12. Same here ... except for v10. strawberrybob: I will not buy any more without Smartsound. I would have purchased Stu.14 if it was still there. 12 works fine for me. No reason to up-grade. Same here. No SmartSound = no upgrade.

Thanks Bittman. I guess Soundstage is Scorefitter, or at least its directory. Regarding examples of Scorefitter, I never watched the Basic Editing tutorial to the end (impatient), and I see now that its the same tool and music.

My investment in SmartSounds is small - just 2 CD's - which I use in just about every home video I make, and with the reply posted by Ian at the top of this thread it certainly looks like the end of the road for SS plug-in use with Studio for the forseeable future. Some will continue to use SonifFire Pro and some may try the workaround ...

  • Re: Menu problem S12

When I burned my DVD it created a folder in My Disk Images with a sub-folder called VIDEO_TS. In it is a file called VTS_01_0.VOB, and when I double click that it launches PowerDVD and displays the problem menu where I can see the pixelated text. Edited: I would provide a screenshot, but printing from a powerdvd window seems to be beyond my ...

Marc - Sorry, but I'm not sure what you are asking. I have burned a DVD of the project which I can play in PowerDVD. How do I make a DVD image and then play iit in PowerDVD? Edited: great avatar, by the way.

  • Re: Menu problem S12

Hi Marc - I used the same project that exhibited the problem in S12.0 which has the original menu digital image, text, and buttons. After installing the 12.1 patch, I opened the project, removed the temporary solution title overlays and then reset the background for the menu from transparent to my digital image. No other ...

Hi Mon Roy - I installed the patch when it came out. This was what I used to run my make movie test over the weekend.
