DVDLab Pro 2 can do this. And it has a pre-built menu for switching audio tracks.

Liquid can load and use many VSTs (audio plug-ins, many freely available) so there is no shortage of audio filters and effects. What you generally have with consumer camcorder microphones is a fairly limited range with a pronounced drop off at the low end. Try just adding one of the built-in equalizers (I suggest the standard Real Time Equalizer ...

A progressive video exported as interlaced is still progressive. This is more of an issue for capturing with the camcorder than playing back.
Remember that clips recorded as interlaced will have alternating jagged edges for moving objects, whereas clips recorded as progressive do not. So if you take your progressive clips and export them as ...

BTW, does anyone remember if Liquid 6.1 can author DL disks?

I think it would help to use DL disks as you could switch to CBR. This renders faster and is more likely to keep in sync.
One thing to check before buying anything is to look at the DVD structure created by Liquid before burning to a disk. Change your project to make just the the VIDEO_TS directory (no burn). Most DVD player applications will let ...

Technology sometimes advances slowly, and sometimes by leaps and bounds. AVCHD, as far as most editing packages are concerned, is a leap-and-bounds issue. Sony Vegas had a head start because Sony was involved with development of AVCHD camcorders. Everyone else had to pretty much wait and see what developed.
Also, the format was designed for ...

Does Liquid 7 take in and put out SD to SD, HD to HD?
Can you take in SD and put out HD and vice versa?
Also, I'd ...

The first version of the Panasonic transcoder would work with any AVCHD. The later versions only work for Panasonic AVCHDs. And no, not all AVCHD files are identical. There are profile levels as well as different bit rates supported by the AVCHD standard.

Unfortunately, this appears to be the case. Since I don't have Chrome Xe, I have no way of testing to see if the dongle interface for Liquid can be run in compatibility mode while the rest of it runs in native 64-bit mode.

For an editing system, Liquid 7'2 compositing features are quite good (with the exception of the classic keying filter; IMHO this is broken in Liquid 7). You really have to go to an effects package (e.g. Commotion Pro, After Effects, Boris) or a dedicated chromakey package to get any better. Also IMHO.
