The Divx version in Liquid is a specially for Pinnacle designed version. Theoretically updating the DIVX codec on your system will also update the Liquid codec, but we do not recommend this.

Could you indicate where those MXF files are comming from ?

The following formats are supported for fuse and render in Liquid 7
- I-frame MPEG 2 MXF
- IPB MPEG2 MXF.
Basically a MXF file can contain any kind of information so the best way to find out if a file is supported, is simply get a sample and try it.

If the folder is Video_TS, it might be a regular DVD. In that case GSport will indicate those are MPEG-2 files. In that case Liquid should be able to handle it. If you want to use Studio 12 to create files for Liquid, export as MPEG-2 as you will keep the quality.

24p is often used as master to create the NTSC and PAL variants from. With the conversion you will of course loose some quality. So from a quality perspecitive using a 24p project is only interesting if you camera actually records in 24p so you can keep your same framerate.

EDL's and XML/ALE are optiosn but more designed for moving sequences to other applications. If you work with Liquid on both systems, probably the best is copying the project files itself. They are not that big as they do not contain any media.
