The question was, will the trial version that you may download and try out have the 3rd party apps with it for the trial...the answer is no, the 3rd party apps will not be included in the trial, just the core program...they will however, be included in the package when you buy it.

My system has 2 hard drives, both SATA - the OS is on a 160G drive and everything else is on the 500G media drive. No problems at all...I know of no reason not to use a SCSI drive for the boot drive, you just need to jump through a few hoops, per google. On the other hand, I know of no reason to use SCSI anymore...the SCSI advantage, ...

At any rate, I downloaded the 30 day trial, then looked for some info on how to get the program running. As has been said elsewhere, Douglas Bruce has some great tutorials and I took advantage of watching some and would recommend those of you getting started have a look. You can look at them ...

I have several albums that I have added as well. As Fred says, the mood mapping doesn't work through Liquid, but the music plays fine as stereo. Smartsound has a sale going on at the moment...have a look here.

Denny, there are some super tutorials for MC which will make the learning curve manageable, and I am sure that Avid will 'make it right' to get to v5, if it comes along.

With the green showing up it may be a video card problem...we (the royal 'we') need to know what your equipment is before we can make any suggestions...OS, processor, memory, hard drives and most importantly, video card, whether onboard or otherwise. You may need the DX10 patch or other corrections...
