The new Media Composer is a stand alone program, not an upgrade, so you do not have to install Liquid first, just install and activate MC on your new peecee.

The Liquid group here in Denver has been talking about the same sort of thing...we are gonna get together this summer and see how it goes. We have several folks that have moved to MC and it should be a fun time!
And MC Immersion...I am interested!

I would say that the reason you don't see the flash while editing is that your inlay is set to show only one field...and the flash is quick enough to only make 1/2 a frame (one field). Click on the 'Q' and you can set it to show both fields - which will also make the video in the monitors look 'combed' while cutting, but will be fine when ...

As I wrote in my first post, the TL settings match the format I used when recording, which was 1080i/60i. Interestingly, just for fun I opened an NTSC project and selected 10801/60i as the TL setting and got exactly the same result in the capture window.
Any other suggestions?
