My experience with octo core Xeon X5482 (3.2Ghz) has been tremendous.  I'm running it with Vista Business x64, 8G RAM, and ATI X1900XTX video.  With liquid, it is just a tad better than the two core xeon 5160 (3.0ghz) I had.  I'm using a tyan S5397 mobo.  It does not help liquid much at all, but this sytem is WHITE HOT ...

What!!!!??? $1,000 discount for Liquid owners? Nothing short of another betrayal. Express owners get a $500 upgrade deal, we get the shaft. Avid kills the superior product (for worry of competition), then does not even gracefully offer the victims a descent deal on their overblown MC product!?  I have way more invested in Liquid ...
