If you un-check the boxes for Show Premium Content and Show Premium Features won't that hide the stuff you don't have and don't want to see? Atleast the ones that come pre-loaded with Studio?

What you describe could probably be done in Studio but, because of the multiple pictures/videos on the screen at the same time, it might be more easily done with Hollywood FX.

The hardware and software they use for sporting events on TV is way beyond anything that Studio can do.
Assuming it's for a video, you'd have to have some kind of motion tracking capability to keep the marker in the proper relation to the video as the video follows the action.

afaik, updating the BIOS doesn't change any of your settings, it only updates the capabilities of the BIOS itself or fixes a known issue.
