Santa was very good this year by dropping off two XDCAM EX cameras at my door along with a bunch of express cards. No more toy shopping for a while. Sounds like everyone enjoyed the holidays.

I have found that for what we do, there's not too much difference between CS2 and CS3. I can design my stuff in either one. You can probably pick up a copy of Photoshop for a couple of hundred bucks. It's definitely a must have and should be in every videographer's toolbox. There are no templates built into the program (that I know of), but you ...

Photoshop CS is all you need. It does it all and you can't go wrong. You can take a look at my designs and if you need to do anything beyond that, which I doubt, you may want to look at Adobe Illustrator.

That would have been a great one for the cover, but I'm usually stuck with whatever photos they choose for the cover and the kiss wasn't one of them (Hey, with the new XDCAM, I might not have to worry about this issue any longer; the stills are amazing).
