''Liquid won't work apparently because of it's ''need'' to make the files proprietary and hard to find ''
If you use EZ Capture in Liquid you name the file yourself and select where it goes. I capture both camcorder tapes and VHS tapes and send stuff to three different HDs without problems.

Never owned 6.1. However, I bought some tutorials for Liquid that were pretty much based on 6.1 and I would say from the differences between what is on the tutorials and what is in 7.2 that there are significant changes.
If my memory serves me right, Liquid 7 was out before Avid bought Pinnacle. I purchased 7 on a special upgrade from ...

''Thanks guys I guess I will break down and buy liquid 7.''
Tomas is being facetious. You are not the only person still using 6.1. However, the above quote from your other thread represents a good decision in my opinion.

On top of that a Title Deko main title edited with a 2D editor to sweep in from the side, stay awhile and then sweep out ...

''magnified it with the 2d editor''
That will lower the quality of the frame. The more you magnify, the fuzzier the picture gets.

''This is a blow up of a DV frame -''
May I ask where and how you got the frame? Sylvain is correct about DV frames but it makes a difference where you got your blowup. If this is taken from the preview or source window in Liquid it is not a full quality picture. The distortion you see will probably not be visible in a finished ...

When I was trying to decide between an LCD and a plasma the salesman told me that in the 15 months he had been working in the tv department the only sets that he had seen come back were the plasmas. We have four LCD sets of various sizes and each a different manufacturer. Don't know how they will work out long term but they all have ...

I read once in another forum that if you scratch a disc outside of the recorded area the disc will not be copyable. At the time, blank DVDs were comparatively expensive so I didn't try it. I'm a bit suspicious of this myself but if you really want protection it might be worth experimenting.
