This is great news, thanks for letting us know Ian.
If it's ''YES'' I wonder how long before we have a patch.
Fingers Crossed.

Hi Paul
The general consensus of opinion is to complete a project in the version you ceated it with so finish your Version 10 projects in 10 or buy Studio 14 and re-start your projects from new, good luck.

The only suggestion that I can make is to create an AVI file with 12.1 and then open that AVI file in 10.7 and continue from there.

How many users would pay for a Plug-In to be able to use SmartSounds with Studio 14 ?
I would if it was priced sensibily and became available soon.
My definition of Sensibily is under 50.00 USD / 30.00 UKP / 35.00 EUR and soon is before 31st March 2010.

My proceedure is to turn on the computer, attach the firewire cable to the HV30 and the computer then switch the HV30 on into PLAY Tape mode then run Studio 12 after windows (Vista & XP) recognises the HV30.

An apology, Windows Media Player does not play my *.m2v files:
I live in the UK and use Studio 12 Ultimate to capture HDV footage from either my PAL Canon XH-A1 or PAL Canon HV30 camcorders.
My Computer is running Vista (32) SP1.
Studio 12 Ultimate produces 5 files during capture.
*.m2v, *.m2v.index2, *.scn, *_1.wav ...

Windows Media Player & Media Player Classic both play my *.m2v files at normal speed and with sound without any problem.
Are the associated *_1.wav & *_2.wav files in the same directory as your *.m2v files ?

Richard, Thanks for clearing that up.
I assume then that ''RT'' stands for ''Real Time''
I find some of Pinnacle's naming conventions rather confusing as they have changed product names since Studio 7/8

Are Pinnacle RTFX Volume 2 and Pinnacle Hollywood FX Volume 2 the same thing ?
