All of my ProDad ...

His reply was that Avid does not support running S12 on win7. It seems to me that I read several post about S12 running fine on W7 and that is why I went ...

Hi I am running S10.8 now and it works good and I presently no not have any plans to do HD But, that might change if my Camera quits and I buy a new one. My question is it worth going to S12 or should stay with S10.8. Are the new features of S12 worth me switching. Thanks for you input and help!!

Marc P, sorry it took so long to get back to you. I fixed the problem. I had to find out where that other drive was coming from. I disconnected my video drive that was not partition and the J drive was no longer on list in ''my computer''. so I felt I was safe to reformat that drive. I discovered that disk was ...

By clean wiping E & J do you mean to reformat them, Or just delet all files? I tried reassigning drive letters and if I reassign or rename J drive, E drive changes to the same name as I renamed J. I renamed E drive to Video desk and after I rebooted J drive was also named Video desk. Right now I don't have any ...

No they are seperate drives. E is where I store all my video. J was left over from the partion drive where I once stored all my video when I was starting out and I read how important it was to have a seperate drive for video that I had the new ATA E drive installed, both drives are ATA serial. Never had any big ...
