MC does support Blu-Ray with it's Avid DVD. It even support 1080 24p dual layers.
And if you want to edit AVCHD, at this time, you need to convert it to an intermediate codec. Me, one of the solutions that I use is to convert the footage from my Panasonic camera to DVCProHD. But I hope for MC to support AVCHD eventually.

Me, I am still using Windows XP. But eventually, I will probably make the move and install Windows 7. I'll see!

Sorry, but you will probably never see a deal like that for Liquid owners. Xpress Pro cost more than Liquid. This is why they got a better deal.
This debate have been done when the original $1000US rebate was offered for Liquid owner.
I agree that many left Liquid. They need an incredible Nextgen to win them back. Or maybe they only want to ...

I see that Windows 7 Pro and ultimate are offering a Windows XP Mode. You need to download it.
Is someone with Windows 7 can try it and report if Liquid is running properly in this mode?

Maybe you should try to reinstall Liquid. I'm not sure, but I think Rapid Liquid shows up during the install process.
So, maybe something got corrupted, so try to reinstall.
