Thanks Marianna for your great work on our behalf.  The free future upgrade from MC 4 to MC 5 cinches the deal for me.  I'm less worried that I'll need to shell out a big chunk more money soon after making the switch.  Regards, -SB

What would really help at this point is if people experienced in both LE and MC could start writing a ''How to do it in LE'' / ''How to do it in MC'' translation chart. If they will issue new codecs for free for older versions that would probably keep me happy; but new video formats are typically a convenient leverage to force users to upgrade, and so upgrade price can be a real issue.

I think the conversion deal from LE to MC is a great price.  But do we know what we are getting into financially?  If MC is oriented toward larger production houses, will we be able to afford the upgrades?  Does anyone have an estimate of the long-term cost of ownership of MC vs other NLEs?
