I did try what you suggested and convert AVCHD to HDV2. It is the initial dropping the AVCHD clips into Pinnacle timeline to render that is taking soooooo long. Once that is done then getting to the ''make movie'' process to convert to HDV2 file is fairly fast. I just don't understand why it is taking so long to render the ...

Thanks for all the ideas, I am still experimenting and going back and forth with email tech support. I can drop my AVCHD files into Pinnacle's timeline, but it still takes along time to render before I can even begin to edit. Once it is rendered then Pinnacle acts fine except if I pull the clip out to extend it, then that clip has to ...

I will check into 1280 x 720 p, I don't see that particular setting in the drop down window, so I will do some tests tomorrow and see if I can find some settings on my camera that match the settings in that window. I didn't think of that, I just thought because Pinnacle was able to edit with AVCHD I would be okay. Do you convert to ...

I am trying to edit my 1280 x 720 60p AVCHD in Pinnacle Studio Ultimate 12. I know my computer is a little under the recommended as far as clock speed. I am willing to change out my graphics card if it will help or perhaps add RAM or possibly change out my processor, but I cannot afford to do all these and still have studdering ...

I will try adding the HQ to my jpg files. Is this necessary to add to the title files too? The type on my titles and DVD menus is so pixlated. It looks so unprofessional to have the type so fuzzy. Thanks for the help. I appreciate it. I will try your suggestions. Maybe at least it fix the pictures on the pan & ...
