......too bad Avid never made an effort to ease the transition from Studio to Liquid. Perhaps they could have provided user optional interfaces more familiar to users of Studio, for one thing.....
Barye,
Liquid 7 had several user selectable interfaces, including a ''Studio interface''. This made life somewhat easier for me when I moved ''up'' to ...

Has the Mercalli v2 standalone program been officially released yet?
Not sure if it's ''official'' - or even an ''end version'', but I got a mail from ProDad saying that I could download the latest version. I just had to use the same link that I got to download the pre-release version to get the newer one.

I don't think that there is any software available on the market today that can give anyone ''copy proof'' DVDs. Copies of DVDs are getting to market faster than the original releases.
It's known to be a very serious problem for film companies in several countries around the world, where copies are being produced that even contain ...

I've taken a long hard look on several sites dealing with softmoding the NVIDIA cards, the end result is that the 8800 GTX with 768 MB RAM is one of the few that can't be softmoded.
I have also turned off Thread Optimization, with no noticable results.
It's not a big deal for me at the moment. I've ordered an FX 1800 for €359.00 and ...

I still have the trial, but here's my 2 cents worth at the moment.
My system has an NVIDIA EN8800 GTX, with 768MB video RAM. This card can not be soft-moded to a Quatro.
So far I haven't noticed any problems when working with MC, with one exception. When I exit MC it hangs and I get a Microsoft error message. The cause of the problem is an ...
