I have a brand new i7 based computer with great specs. Win 7 and then installed S14 on this new machine. Can edit and render OK - but I cannot get the system to generate a BD project with menus. S14 ''hangs''. Have discussed with Pinnacle support and have followed their advise on reinstalling the application. Nothing helps and it irritates me ...

S14 ''Hangs'' when creating a project with 40+ chapters. Rendering goes fine - but when it comes to ''Creating final file'' - then system Stops with no error messages. Windows System info logs an application error - but there is nothing relevant to see from Studio14 - it just stops.  Running Win7

When can the first patch be expected for Studio14 ?? I have some serious problems generating BD files. Will I be able to install S12 with my S14 license - just in case S12.1 dont have the problem ?

My purpose of the many chapters is also only for creating ''jump-points'' to ease navigation. I have used Studio since version 9 - and this has never been a problem. Thanks for suggested workaround. It seems you have similar problems with ver12. I have found a way to reproduce the error: Make a project with 80 still pictures 1920x1080. When use a standard menu and make it create 80 chapters. Render will go fine (runs in a few minutes), but creating the final BD file will cause Studio14 to ''STOP''. No error ...

Have just rendered a 62 chapter project with no problem. You could be right on the Chapter's being the issue. Earlier versions of Studio could handle 100+ chapters. On DVD playback it would then have several ''Title'' menus with 100 chapters in each. Studion 14 will only allow 100 chapters - but then it seems not to be able to make a BD project ...
