• Re: Pinnacle Studio and DaVinci Resolve

I have Davinci Resolve lite installed and have Studio 17 which I am going to install. Resolve is an awesome program and is not that difficult to learn given all the tutorials on youtube. I learned everything I ever needed to know about life on youtube. Of course Resolve works best if you have a camera such as a Black Magic Pocket Cinema camera. ...

I have an email to buy 18.5 Ultimate for 79.95 and am thinking about it. Any suggestions? Liven up the forum a little bit maybe?

  • Re: Re:Panasonic 4K for UNDER $900!!

I'm using GIMP. I'm shooting jpeg but the camera also has raw in camera processing. It takes raw photos fast so next time I shoot the moon I will try raw. I've never done raw photos before so it'll be a new experience for me.

I sharpened it less and I figured out how to fix the blue sky. Added: I just viewed from the photo on the site and it pixelates the sky.

This one is f/4, 1/2 sec, iso 200. This was the first night I got it and didn't know how to manually set everything. It still came out okay. I didn't sharpen this one I just fine tuned it in levels in GIMP. I thought the patches of fog drifting by would ruin the shot, but I think it looks pretty good with the fog. Added: I stand ...

Here's a slid show of photos someone did: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8KLSDx6uflA And here's a video comparing HD video to downscaled 4K to HD video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-CzevOd6Oc The 4K downscaled to HD has sharper detail than the HD.

It's hefty and feels like a real camera. Some may not like the size but I don't mind. At the end of the day it's the videos and photos I look at, not the camera on my desk. This thing in lightening fast. I took a burst group of a guy running at the bay and each one came out crystal clear and I was zoomed in at 800mm. The zoom advertises 400mm but ...

Here's a photo I've taken so far with the FZ1000. I cropped it a little and sharpened it with a high pass filter in GIMP. I have some slow motion video but I want to get better stuff before I put any up on youtube. I just got my class U-3 card today so I can now get 4K video.

Since I'll probably be in dept until Feb 17, 2067, give or take a few years, I pre ordered the FZ1000. I have plenty of scenery in and around San Diego so I'll try and get up off my butt and check out the 4K stuff. I noticed that I can video tape in flat mode for color grading. I have De Vinci resolve 10 and I've been meaning to learn it so now's ...
