S10 has never run automatically when I've inserted the disk. Autorun has never been enabled, it's always been set to 'Ask me every time' so I just get the usual option of choosing Welcome.exe or Open Folder. If I run into trouble I'm quite capable now of using system restore and RegDelete to get rid of any problems and I can always download another full copy of the programme from the website.
