There's currently a seemingly decent UPGRADE bundle offer for PS21U that includes PaintShop Pro x9, the Blu-ray Disc Plug-in, NewBlue Lights Effects and WinZip 21.5 for USD $79.95. https://www.pinnaclesys.com/en/upgrade/studio/
(I ordered it... )
Previous owners of Avid Studio or Pinnacle Studio 9 and higher qualify for ...

Just bought PS21U Box / bundle on a Black Friday deal and looking forward to trying it out!
Read many reviews and saw numerous video tutorials and it sure looked like a new AND improved app. The UI seems more intuitive (to me anyway) than any version I've considered since PS15. Tony's positive reviews on Amazon and the PC Mag site were quite ...

Basically same problem here. Reinstalled PS15 the other day and none of the 'Pixie' codecs validate. It seems the link is no longer valid (and my firewall isn't blocking it). Since this is an older thread I'll ask which Moderator should I contact?

Thanks, as always, for your valued insights Tony.
And it is good to hear that Corel is doing a decent job of supporting the product.

Pinnacle works well with my system. It uses all 8 cores, at times, pinned in the 90%+ range of usage. That's great. I want them all used. That's good news.
I'm a few years behind on computer hardware technology so maybe there are fewer differences between the two GPU camps in terms of consumer/prosumer NLE SW. But the current ...

Tony P:
Have to admit, the ''dark ages'' would have been a lot brighter if there they continued development on Liquid. But they stopped patching (something that even Pinnacle did before the buyout) software.
Agreed. Liquid had great potential and it's code certainly improved Studio's stability and performance for the versions it was ...

Been a long time since I've visited this place. Had expected Corel to retire Pinnacle and Studio by now. Nice to instead see PS17 in production, already with a few patches released and some forum involvement from a company rep. as well ! Could be the start of a brighter era not seen here since before the dark ages of the ...

Hi Greg -
Sorry to hear about your wife's health problems. Hang in there.
Thanks for the reminder about S16 not working with XP.

Thanks guys for your prompt responses!
Saby – The answer to the question in your title is definitely no.
Nice to know that Corel app isn’t a former Pinnacle hybrid.
Tony – Look at my specs below. I have no problems with editing in PS16U. I press the mouse button and use keystrokes as fast as I can, and the program ...
