Quickest way with good quality.
Edit the sound with your video on the timeline. Shortening the sound on both ends to fit your needs. Add fades in and out if needed. Adjust volume etc.
Go to ''Make File'' - ''Settings'' File Type ''Audio'' - ''Preset'' Wav(PCM) 44.1 kHz

I just purchased Creative Pk. 1 & 2 on sale. I wouldn't buy #1 again from what I see. #2 Menues are good.
Has anyone purchased #2. Seems the Motion Menues don't have sound. All my other older Motion Menues have sound. My new Winter Pk. Motion Menues don't have sound either.
Seems since I went to 12.1 there is no more sound ...

Due to no SmartSounds, I seldom use Studio-14U. I'm still waiting for a patch to be issued that will enable SmartSounds.

I, like many others didn't buy 14 because of the same reason. When they fix 14 with Smart Sound I'll start buying Studio and SS again.

The short answer is. You can't make High Def. out of Standard Def. video. Upgrading to 12 plus or 14 won't help. What you get is what you shoot.
Plus, with 14 you will not have Smart Sound.

This might sound silly but, did you have your cameras in the VCR position when recording to tape ? Sometimes it's the easiest things.

Looking at your system and what you want to do, I would film in SD and stay away from HD editing. My 2cents.
