I was having problems with PS25U crashing and with slow export of 4k as i posted here , Tony P very kindly offered to take a look using my project package, and observed the problem that i was having, nearly 4 hours to export a 24 minute long project, which then hung on the final frame.
During the export very low utilisation was seen of both CPU ...

Well it crashed again, I can't remember having a version as unstable as this, I'm uploading the project package to dropbox, the attempt to export it in 24 hung on the last frame on the laptop, so i'm trying again without the end title on to at least get it sorted so i can upload to youtube

Export using 24 failed with 1 frame left to go, sat like it overnight, the same project on the laptop did render out in 24 but somehow studio relinked a wrong clip, I'm trying it in 24 on the laptop having sorted that PS25 has crashed several times this morning, attempting it yet again with 25 at the moment, if it crashes again i'll sort a package ...

Tony P:Martin, are you monitoring your hardware with Task Manager? 4K can be intensive depending on what is done to the footage. Also, heat can cause throttling if the CPU is used a lot and it has the stock cooler.
yeah, monitoring with task manager & got that project exporting in 24 on the laptop at the moment CPU running at about 80 ...
