If doing a Repair didn't fix the problem and a Search of the whole computer for ''Buttons'' does not find any folders with that name, you may be faced with re-installing the whole program from disk. Try that and let us know if it worked.

I use my old Sony TRV-210 (Digital 8) camera as a pass-thru device to capture old tapes using Firewire. Perhaps you can find a cheap camera with pass-through capability on Ebay, if your Dazzle doesn't work.

My old camcorder (still works) has S-video out and all the footage is in the Hi-8 format, what ever that is.
For what it's worth, Hi8 is the same as S-Video. Both have 400 lines of resolution (compared to 240 lines for VHS and 500 lines for DV). Hi8 was used for 8 mm tapes while S-Video referred to VHS tapes.

R_Vera:Whenever I start having the BSOD I just reformat my whole computer so I won't be wasting too much time finding the problem. I know it is time consuming in installing all the programs, but its worth it. (this only happens to me once a year...if any)
If you take a disk image as a back-up when the computer is in its proper working state (use ...
