And don't forget that this is only for capturing DV, not any of the HD formats.  Unless you have an old camera, this Moviebox will not be much use. Ten years (2003 - 2013) and eight versions (S8 - S16) of development is a lot in software development age and as Jeff (jjn) says, S8 didn't get good reviews in its day.

Edius is the closest to Liquid in how it works.  Have you tried the latest version (ver. 7 I believe)?  There is a trial version of it available, so give that a try.  Liquid was great, but it is now obsolete as far as the newer codecs go.  If you are using SD video, Liquid should still work well.  In that case the ...
