I still have Liquid on my old Windows XP computer and actually have used it once or twice in the past two years! However, my newer Windows 7 editing computer has Media Composer on it and that is what I tend to use most of the time.

Is your Windows OS a 32 bit or a 64 bit version? The BOB drivers are only 32 bit and there are no patches or updates to those drivers. If you can't get your BOB working, one possible workaround is to get an older DV camera on e-Bay and use its pass-through to capture 8mm or Hi8 tapes through Firewire.

Not only would you need to find a download of the Liquid 7.2 installer, but if you have a modern video card, you will also need the DX10 patch.
I would suggest to either do a Google search (you never know what you will find!), or switch to a more modern NLE such as Edius (very similar workflow to Liquid's) or even Pinnacle Studio 18 (it started ...
