Does Pinnacle employ a proprietary database ? Is there a unique process by which the information is encoded ?
Ultimately video editors are at their core, database applications -- they keep track of all sorts of different, sequential, and critically timed, elements.

Does it have more functionality that the original Live Capture program ? (or less ?)
You are saying that the PS24's version of this program will make a live recording of what is playing on a computer ?

yes, your hunch is correct -- the interior stuff got recorded at 16.742 FPS; whilst the daylight exteriors were recorded at between 17.583 & 28.937 FPS
Thankfully my 1080 export went ok -- even without converting with Handbrake.
I have to add some titles and text -- hopefully the next export will be similarly successful ...
