Tony P: Last night a composed a detailed response to the questions you posed above. However, when I tried to send the response I got a message saying the post had been deleted by saby because it was a duplicate. Not sure what is happening. It was not a duplicate. How do you reply to ...

Tony P: Thanks for replying to my lamentations. I have a homebrew computer running an Intel i7 7700 with dual screens. I run my OS (W10) and all my SW off a solid state drive with over 300 Gb free space. I have been using Pinnacle in its various form for about 10 years. It seems that the odd ...

  • Pinnacle Studio Ultimate

Corel has been a big disappointment again. I have been using PSU 23 reasonably successfully. It does not fall down unless you stress it. With it I have developed a 2 hour long biographical video (built in 14 segments that have yet to be pasted together). After reading about the updates for the Title Editor ...

  • Re: Short Clips Finder

Adding my support for a short clip finder. One way to find them is to ripple a transition from start to end. It will stop at short clips. But this is a terrible way to find them and messes up intended transitions.

  • How to dynamically move PiP rectangle

I have a video clip of a talking head that fills the screen. I want to dynamically reduce the window size of the clip (as done in PiP-- not as per pan/zoom) and slide it to the upper right corner of the screen to reveal the video content being described by the talking head. Is there any way to do this? I tried making about ...

  • time remapping

I have video shot in 1998 with HIres camera. It has been digitized to MP4V, Br 30416, 16 bit color, aspect 16:9, 720 x 480 px and 29.97fps. I want to speed through some scenes so I have tried the time remapping function and found it very reliable. I took about 30 seconds of video and cut sliced it at 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 seconds ...

  • Structure of the .axx file

Has anyone attempted to examine a Pinnacle .axx file? When you open a .axx file, it takes a few moments to put all the objects someplace but where? I made a very long video that I saved using a .axx file and now I would like to recover some of the jpg objects from that file. Can you think of any way to get them out? ...

  • Re: Re:Is it safe to install the re-issued 23.2 Patch?

Hello I have PU which had the audio dropout problem. I made a very short axx file with the error and sent it to Corel. Not sure whether it was used but after installing the patch labeled ''Hotfix_PS23_Audio_Drop_Out the error has been resolved -- that is, the small test case did not work before ...

  • Re: audio drop out in P23U

I sent Corel a long and detailed error report including an axx file that demonstrates the problem. This bug makes P23U sort of useless if you have audio accompanying your video as is usually the case. How specifically did you bring it to their attention. Do you have any idea on when this might be remedied? I have a Word ...
