• Problem with VCR conversions - blue screen popping

I have been trying to convert a VCR tape, but when it's playing and recording, every once in a while the video is lost and all that shows for a few seconds is a blue screen. Then the video will pop back up? The whole time the audio continues without any problem. I will stop the conversion and the blue screen will continue to pop up every once in a ...

If I went through the Edit section and split the whole video into different segments, how can I save them as different videos? • VCR Player or Tape --- Damaged or Dirty?

Hello - I've been converting VCR tapes to MP4 format and have started seeing bad videos. The tops of the frame will curve to the left (about an 1'' of the top - see image) and I don't see anything wrong with the tape. It doesn't last forever, but it will start and continue for 15 secs, go back to normal for a while and then start over. The ...

  • Re: Re:Fuzzy Picture from VCR

The tapes look fine and when I put a tape from another group it played fine. I just seems the tapes in this group all play like that. One interesting thing about the tapes is that when I play/ff - the screen looks fine and you can see the whole picture, but when you hit play again and slow it down, that's when the problem shows again. So, I ...

  • Re: Re:Fuzzy Picture from VCR

Thank you. Here's a screenshot and I have a feeling, from what I've seen on these tapes, that they're all like this. Is there anything to fix or would I just need a better VCR to play them at different speeds, auto fix,... I don't know if there is a way.
