Tony P:Thanks. We have electric drums at church. Gave up on acoustic because like you said, even playing soft, it was too loud. So the drum (what drummer doesn't like loud drums), wants something similar to what you have. Since I do the audio, I was worried about whether they make a lot of sound.
Also, would you need a monitor or can you ...

Tony P:Thanks for the info on the drum kit. You mention volume level of the kit. How loud is it if you just hit the pads?
The drum pads are very quiet due to the mesh heads. The cymbals are a little louder as you're essentially thumping a piece of rubber with a lump of wood .
The kick drum is the loud part though - there is a very ...

saby: jrb101: It's not just audiophiles that notice the difference - producers, musicians and composers do too!
I would place all these guys in the same category.
Fair point Saby!

mmixer: Tony P:. But for most of the Pinnacle users, the bitrate that Pinnacle offers is more than enough.
Perhaps only audiophiles notice the difference. I must say that the difference between a 192 and 320 Kbps MP3 is kind of huge...

Tony P:Yeah... but there a lot of those files out there. CVS handles them with no problem.
I have Audacity and will give it a shot.
Tony isn't wrong - in the audio world there is still plenty of OGG files out there - I think even Spotify still uses OGG. Granted it's supposed to be replaced by OPUS - but does Studio 21 support ...

Hi,
I wasn't really sure where to post this as it's not directly related to Pinnacle Studio per se... May be the mods can move it if it would sit better anywhere else?
I used to use Cyberlink Powerdirector 15, and that rendered pretty quickly. Switching to Studio 21U seemed to get even better render times for similar ...

Tony P:Hopefully Pinnacle can patch this sooner rather than later as that seems a pretty critical bug...
No argument from me!
Until then I guess, like you, I could render in Studio 21 and import to another NLE like CVS 2018 to do the VO work... It'd work, just not be the neatest solution as it would end up being rendered ...

Tony P:I like the 3rd video. Nice sound. What did you use to record it?
Also curious as to the electric drum kit you have in the back. What is it?
I, like you, own several editors ranging from the consumer to the pro. My ''go to'' editor is Pinnacle. I know it so well and it does so much quickly, especially using keyboard shortcuts. And yes, it ...

Up to about a week ago, this bug wouldn't have featured on my radar, but having agreed to do some recording software tutorials now, I'm going to need VO options.
Guess I'll have to remember to start the VO from the beginning of the timeline then!
Hopefully Pinnacle can patch this sooner rather than later as that seems a pretty critical ...

Hi,
The ability to add objects to the 3D title editor, like you can in the 2D title editor would be great. Either that or the bundling of something like Boris Title Studio or NewBlue Titler 5 to cover these duties (preferably as a media generator rather than an FX as that is a clunky way of doing things!) - these are bundled in CVS 2018 ...
