Unfortunately the latest patch does not resolve any of the time freeze issues 

This forum is much quicker than (Dutch) Corel support. They first said that it ought to behave like that because the clip wasn't longer. Then they said they would check whether it really was a bug. It took them 10 days to come up with that response.

I addressed this to Corel support but they are not sure whether it is a fault or a feature   When I add a time freeze segment to a clip there are also time freeze segments (red areas) added at the beginning and the end of the clip. That's of course not what I want because it especially gives problems with transitions. See here ...

saby:Of course, this workaround is working. Not in this case. Every time I take a snapshot it makes a snapshot of the beginning of the clip - not of the frame where the scrubber is.

I just found out that it's the renderservice.exe that produces the error.

When you draw a line in the split screen editor, and change the horizontal or vertical position to a value smaller than -50 or larger than 50 the program freezes.

? I also added an earlier more elaborate reply to this thread but that one is on moderation? Weird.

P.S. I also got the following error message several times while working with the timefreeze function.
