saby:Studio can't handle multi-tracks audio files.
Am somewhat surprised over this answer
I have used numerous DAWs and see no problem using Studio 23 for video production with separate audio tracks.
To use video editing with entirely separate audio tracks, select the video clip (all with Ctrl-A), right click the selection and select ...

You can use symbolic links.
You move the folder or file to the wanted location and create a symbolic link at the original location.
There is a program called ''Link Shell Extension'' to integrate this in File Explorer.
The feature is very useful for old projects that can be moved to other locations without any problem.

The easiest way I have found, is to hold Shift+Ctrl and click on the video to the right of the insert point and move everything to the right.
When things have been inserted and edited, repeat Shift+Ctrl and move it back to correct position.

I have a similar problem in Studio 20, where animated pan/zoom is very buggy.I figured out, that if pan/zoom is done on a 'solo' scene, it works fine, but if the scene is part of a longer media file, it is very buggy. This works for me - mark in and out the clip, export with 'Same as Timeline' and replace the clip with the new one.

Interesting discussion.I have had problems with DivX codecs, and did some research, and learned there is significant difference between a 32-bit and 64-bit Studio installation.Learned that Studio use codecs from RealNetworks (link below), but haven’t been able to figure out, if Studio only uses RealNetworks for software encoding.About hardware ...

Checked the multi point trimming with the Shift key, and could get it to work in some situations.
However I then figured out, that by holding Shift+Ctrl and select the clip, I can move everything to the right and thereby get free space to work on.
And, the idea of using SubMovies is something I will use in the feature.

It is a mkv container, which is rarely supported by video editors.
You can change the container to mp4, and it should work with programs supporting H265 > ffmpeg -i %1 -c copy -copyts %1.mp4
If editing is a troublesome in Studio, you can set the editing format to eg 1440x1080 and preview rendering to 100%, and preview render the hole movie.
