Upgraded my computer recently to an Intel 11th generation CPU and a Z590 motherboard.
In Studio 23 there was a huge improvement in hardware redering and export speed, but H265 is not supported.
In Studio 25 hardware Intel H265 is supported, and makes a huge difference.

For Studio 20, you can add VST plugins to the C:\Program Files...\Pinnacle\Studio 20\plugins\SystemAudio folder, and they will appear in the Audio Effects. Only drawback is that adjustment in the GUI has to be saved as a preset and then selected.

PSU 23 seems to insert the clip at the same track if possible, but found it can be forced to any track by right clicking the track and choose paste.

For your interest.
Have done old DV PAL file conversions to MP4 files for saving harddisk space.
First you need to figure out if the format is the 4:3 or 16:9 by looking at it - your source is 720x480 which technical is 16:9 despite the stated 4:3 format.
Then I use AVS Video Converter to convert to the proper MP4 format for Pinnacle ...

Agree, Studio 23 does not support e.g. FLAC and WavPack multitrack formats, which is fully acceptable as there are workaround for this.
