As promised, the results: It worked! Again many thanks Saby ! (not all MKV's can be imported but I'm pretty shure these didn't work before in PS).

That's unfortunate. Well, no choice then keep on wrestling the watermarks...

That's what I heard and they are the only effects and transitions I normally use. Maybey I overlooked it, but I can't find other good effect packages for Pinnacle.

Now and then PS22 crashes (can happen, happens in every editor). But when I restart it, every clip on the timeline with NewBlue effects and/or transitions show the notorious watermarks. Usually it was easy to resolve (renaming the folder with clips and let PS rescan, and/or emtpy the Render files).Unfortunality these workarounds no longer work and ...

Untill recently I could import most of MKV movies. Sometimes there was no sound, or the quality wasn't very good, but then I converted it to MP4 in Handbrake. But now every MKV-import/drag to the timeline-attempt, results in 'Couldn't import file.
