I imported a 4GB 1 hour long mp4 file into Studio 21.5 and performed a few edits, slightly decreasing its length. When I exported it, the resulting mp4 file was 30GB in size - almost as though it was uncompressed. Yet the file is in mp4 format and plays correctly. What's up with that?

I have a video that has two audio channels; left & right. For some of the clips in my movie, I want to switch the left and right channels. I see that there are software packages available that will accomplish that, but I wonder if there is any version of Studio that can accomplish that internally (I have 14HD and 19).

Thanks for the reply. The files are typically about 6 GB long. The software doesn't seem to choke on them; it processes them normally. Except that when I export the file and assign it a name, the software ignores the name I want.

I'm a new user of this program, and have experienced some puzzling features that I've come across.
1. The most irritating one is that when I export a file, the SW asks for
a file name. But no matter what name I key in, it assigns a numerical
name with something like 18 characters.
