• Re: Player screen

Yes, the ''Source'' window could have been undocked and hiding. I had considered that possibility and spent a lot of time trying to find the errant window. I never considered a single monitor test. I assumed that closing and reopening PS would reset the docking status, but that never worked. I have two indentical laptops with Intel ...

  • Re: Player screen

I've never posted a screen shot to this forum and it has been a long learning curve. In the meantime I've installed Pinnacle Studio 22 Ultimate on another computer and both the ''Source'' tab and the ''two-box'' icon are there.

I have the same problem and it appears the previous person gave up with trying to get an answer. Now I'll try. • Re: Re:PS17 Smooth preview of Library Video

Your points are valid, however don't apply to my situation. On the same computer I use GoPro Studio to preview and extract clips from the same raw video. The preview is smooth, perfectly synced with the sound and I am able to extract clips working at the frame level. The logical conclusion is that, in my case, it is not a ...

  • Creating clips

In the Import and Create part of latest free version of GoPro Studio I can preview and create clips from raw (not modified, not converted, not rendered) video of all video properties (4K, 2.7K, 1080P, etc.). I can do this by identifying the start and ending frames (in other words I can work at the frame level) of each clip that I want. ...

  • Re: Re:PS17 Smooth preview of Library Video

Profile done. I start with 1 hour of raw video. I want to extract about 15 minutes of ''clips'' before putting them on the timeline. Then I am only rendering 15 minutes of video instead of one hour of video reducing the total rendering time significantly. Because the previewing is jerky I can not create the ''clips'' without ...

Yes, if Optimization is set at 100 (I use 0 or 100, never tried any other setting).

Does the Preview Tab of Control Panel in Setup menu apply to previewing directly from the Library (not on the Timeline)?
