• Re: Re:Studio 22 Importer crashes win 10

I have exactly the same problem on Studio 21.5 As you describe, click import or select import from file drop-down - program just closes after a couple of seconds. Tried restart PC from cold - same thing.

  • Re: Re:Studio 21 ultimate new problem with project bins

Doh!! That's exactly what it was. I hadn't intentionally changed anything here but sure enough they were disabled. Never used those buttons before. THANK YOU!

  • Studio 21 ultimate new problem with project bins

Suddenly I'm finding that items in project bins are not shown in the project bin window. This has previously been working fine, but I just created a new bin and tried adding files, both by drag-and-drop and by using the quick import option. The left hand menu shows that the bin has files in it (i.e. shows BinName(n) where n is the number of files ...

  • Clips created using multicam editor only play properly whilst in multicam editor

I'm having a real big problem with multicam editor in Studio 21 Ultimate. (V21.5.0.274) I have recorded a concert on 3 cameras and saved clips from each camera for one act as separate clips. I have then used those clips in the multicam editor to produce a combined edit. The combined clip (less than 3 minutes long) plays perfectly while in the ...

  • Re: Studio 21 - Slow or extremely slow startup?

I had the same problem and your fix worked for me jjn. Associated, but as far as I know not reported by anyone else, if you turn on the Windows Defender file protection option (to prevent ransomware attacks) it throws alerts with Pinnacle Studio. Every time I told it to ignore a particular process it alerted with another so in the end I just ...

  • Re: Project bins behaving strangely in Studio 21

Thanks for the heads-up. I'm relieved to know it't not just me! Regards.

  • Re: Project bins behaving strangely in Studio 21

Quick update: it seems that items already in my bin are not affected, but anything I add during a session has gone the next time I start the program. It's as if the Project Bin file structure is not being updated, it just reloads an old structure every time I run the program re-loading bins I have deleted and leaving out any new files added to ...

  • Project bins behaving strangely in Studio 21

For some reason the project bins in Studio 21 are causing me grief: assets that I have put in a bin are randomly disappearing although any movies they have already been incorporated in can still be edited normally. Also I have found that I cannot delete a project bin. I right-click a project bin, select and confirm delete and the bin disappears, ...

  • Re: Spurious blank frames between camera cuts only on exported DVD - Studio 21

Update on this: If I open the .disc project file (created with Studio 21) in Studio 20, and create my export ISO file from Studio 20 it plays flawlessly, no spurious blank frames. So this is a problem with the Studio 21 exporter which is not present in Studio 20. Relieved to have found a work-around, but would be interested in anyone else's ...

  • Re: Re:Exported files very low resolution

I have just worked around this for now, it's not an operation I have much need for, so I will hope that maybe after a future update it won't occur. Many thanks though for your time and trouble!
