Thanks, Tony. Yeah there are a couple ways around it. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong or it wasn't my system. Maybe Corel will pick up on it and fix it sometime in a future release. Not that big a deal...........

I used the Effect>Camera>Blur. FYI I tried exporting as a MTS file with the blur effect and it hung up also.

I rebuilt my project piece by piece again and tried exporting in CineForm format after each item I added to the timeline. The export worked every time until I added a blur effect.
