• PS25-Transition Rating Issue

I rate a few transitions with five stars so they show in the Replace by context menu. However, if I want to add five stars to Page Curl (Wide Curl), for example in Transition>2D-3D, when I expand the Page Curl (No Preset) and add a five star rating to the transition it adds the rating to all the transitions in the group. So all the transitions ...

  • Re: Question About Missing Media

I do backup feature periodically for safety reasons. Not sure why but I never thought about restoring the prior version backup in the new upgrade. Guess I wasn't thinking. i will try that a year from now. Thanks for the info.

  • Re: Question About Missing Media

No I did not do that. I just installed the upgrade. Does backing up the library in the old version and restoring it in the new version work? It should. Never dawned on me to do that. I have copied the NGDatabase folder from the old version to the new version in the past but did not do that this time.

  • Re: Question About Missing Media

Hilltops:Perhaps I misunderstand you but when I upgraded to v. 25, the Project Bins I had in v. 24 were there. No you didn't misunderstand. When I upgraded to PS25 the PS24 Collections were transferred. I had to manually transfer the Project Bin items. That has always been the same for me ever since they introduced Project Bins. I also ...

  • Re: Question About Missing Media

jjn: Hilltops:Indeed, why not make the button 'Library Media' visible? Indeed. I'm sick of asking that question, I first asked it when they introduced Project Bins, which just duplicate Collections. I totally agree but if they get rid of one I hope they keep the attributes of Collections because Collection folders are carried over to new ...

  • Re: Adding Motion to Title Group Layers PS25

jjn:Thanks for the screenshot. Either the manual is plain wrong, or it's a feature that was supposed to be in 25 but has yet to be implemented. I'm guessing the latter, because copy and paste is very cumbersome (and flaky). Jeff, thanks for checking that it had been reported. FYI, the manual and online help in PS24 also says Title Group Layers ...

  • Re: Adding Motion to Title Group Layers PS25

Hilltops:You can access the PS 25 PDF Help file from within the program when you click the '?' icon in the upper menu bar. Thank you, I do know that and use it. In this case I saw it in the manual and was responding to Jeff's question as to where I found it. I also wanted to let him know if he was using the user guide link from the home ...

  • Re: Adding Motion to Title Group Layers PS25

I am quoting from the PS25 PDF manual on page 159. I had to find the PS25 PDF manual on the internet. If you click the User Guide link button from the home screen in PS25 it gives you the PS24 manual, not PS25.

  • Adding Motion to Title Group Layers PS25

On my end, in a title if I group layers I cannot add a motion to the group using the Motion tab, only to each individual layer within the group. However, I can add Legacy Motions to the group. According to the manual a group layer should share look and motion properties.
