I've seen this as well; just chalked it up to a) a PSU glitch b) laziness on my part for ignoring it and moving on   ...but it has certainly occurred.  I'd be happy to add to this thread when/if it occurs again. 

Usually all you have to do is close ngstudio.exe in Task Manager.  Then PS should launch again without rebooting.

It really sounds like 5.1 in PSU is an afterthought.  It sounds like you want it to work, but can't figure out how.  It's not really documented, and seems to be provided either as a convenience, or back by popular demand.  I'm not sure that complaining will make it less of an afterthought in PSU.  How important is 5.1 to you ...

Excuse the silly question, but where does Corel post release notes for patches and such? I found Saby's thread here:  http://forums.pinnaclesys.com/forums/thread/722071.aspx ...and thanks for that, but doesn't Corel post this somewhere, too, like ...I dunno... in the patch file somewhere, or online?
