• Re: GoPro cameras, etc. ...

Don't want to Hi-Jack a thread but, figured this crowd might have an answer. I've been trying to edit 2.7k footage from a Go Pro Black. Any suggestions???

  • Re: No sound in Pinnacle

After upgrading to Pinnacle 17 I'm completely unable to hear audio or seet in the timeline if it came from my New Sony Camcorder with PCM compression audio. It worked just fine in Pinnacle 16. I contacted support and they told me there isn't a fix. The current patch made things worse. No resolution.

  • 2.7K AVCHD Footage from GoPro

I heard there was going to be a patch that would allow editing of 4k footage in Studio 17 this month. I was wondering if Studio will support editing of 2.7k footage as well?

  • We need support for Go Pro 2.7k and 4k resolutions!

The new Go Pros are extremely popular. Corel Video Studio and Power Director both offer support for the higher Go Pro resolutions. You can view video through Windows 8 but, not in Studio 16 at this time.

  • Re: Audio Clicks in sound clips. Need Help.

Looking at the waveform there is aren't any straight lines that would indicate audio pops. With bad microphones in the past I've seen spikes in the waveform. Not this time. The camera I shot this footage on was an AG HMC-40 Panasonic. Again no problems in Windows Movie looking at the raw footage or streamed directly to my Scepter or Panasonic HD ...

  • Audio Clicks in sound clips. Need Help.

I run PS16 Ultimate on two separate editing PCs and have a similar audio popping/ cracking issue with both. I am 100% sure there is no problem with my wireless Sony Professional Mic (# URX-P2). I play the video on a tv and it's perfectly fine. I play it on the camcorder and it's fine. I play it in Windows Movie Maker and it's fine. I play it ...

  • Help on burning a disk from a saved BDMV file

I created a project in Pinnacle 16 Ultimate and burned that project to a Blue Ray disk. After I did that I upgraded to Windows 8 Pro and did a complete reinstall of Windows. I have multiple drives on my P.C. and save finished projects on a drive other than the ''C'' drive so it doesn't take up so much room on the main drive. I'm trying to ...

  • Re: Corel buys Pinnacle - the bulletpoints....

As I have copy of VS4 that came in a bundle with Paint Shop I was curious to look around on the Corel site. I saw this information listed. Perhaps we have a go to person we can contact about the true future of Pinnacle and Avid Studio whatever the new names will become. I've heard reports that Corel will keep Pinnacle Studio and ...

  • Re: Corel buys Pinnacle - what are the consequences?

Had to render my latest video 4 times. It kept loosing sync and one time dropped the audio from one of the clips altogether. Maybe Corel can be our Knight in shinning armor. Please Corel, please. I had to end up using the speed function to hold the pitch. Even with go arounds I still have issues. Win 7 64bit I-7 2600k 16 gig ...
