looks like you have it right Jef, just tried a 12 sec clip with a preset added, then made avi file it took about 10mins to make. then put the finished file back into studio reopened Looks but when I opened another preset the first effect vanished but I could put in another effect.   see how you get on and let me know. 

Jeff  The manual for looks is basic links to web pages  but if you know what your looking for it can be helpful. Its in the folder c:/program files/ Pinnacle/ studio12/plugins/RTFx/MBLooksSE/Majic_Bullet_Looks_SE  there you should find a folder in english.  Good Hunting. 

Marc I have downloaded the upgrade for studio 12 ultimate all seems fine no Problems found. Best version Yet.  Could you please advise when we will get a manual  for Magic Bullet Looks in English as the only one on your ftp site is in French Thanks   

If I decide to do so I would purchase a Full version from an online retailer - based on prices I paid for full versions of S10/S11 it is very likely that the Full version of S12 will go on sale somewhere for less than the cost of an Upgrade version from the Pinnacle ...

I think I will wait and see if they've got it right this time round, 11 was better than 10 but still had bugs when it first came out, although the pre order price looks good is it worth the grief just to test it out for Pinnacle????? 

Hi Nic Did you order the Ultimate or just  studio 11? if it was the ultimate you should get the following in the box..... 1x  Studio Plus DVD 1x Studio Ultimate install CD 1x Studio bonus DVD 1x update for bonus DVD 1X Manual 1X Green screen Iam not sure what comes with just studio 11 Hope you find the missing bits! 

PCM as default would not solve the issue. If a player cannot playback AC3 marked as MPEG, i would guess that it also cannot playback AC3 marked as PCM   The problem as I see it (ie the problem Iam having) is that there is no audio on some dvd players but there is on others when |I use DD2 but if i use PCM setting there is no problem at all. ...

I Thought I would just jump in here as Iam getting the same problem. with a 2 hour video with 5 menus,  when I burn the disc with dd2 as the audio, I don't get any sound, except for the menus, on one of my dvd players but then it will play fine in the other. I have tried burning about 4 discs with the same results. Reburn the same project ...
