I tried your suggestion&nbsp; with the work round and it has worked fine on a couple of DVD's but have just tried again on a disc that I burnt a couple of days ago and that also come in at twice the length it should have been.     Thought I'd just add this sto your list of V12 bugs! I have already posted a thread about it. &nbsp;When importing DVD titles studio imports it at twice the length and the picture freezes when played in the time line but the audio carries on. MarcP is looking at it I think?&nbsp;

    Hi Marc Please ignore my last post, tried it out and managed to import the&nbsp; files onto my hard drive then bring them into Studio via the import DVD titles and it came in ok at the right time scale. The same DVD when imported direct from the disc came in with double the time scale.&nbsp; Hope you can find a solution for us..&nbsp;

    Thanks Marc for offering to test this problem. Could you please give me some guidance as to how to import a DVD to the hard drive, do you extract the vob files? if so how as Ive never copied one to the hard drive before.

    Hi Jbatt&nbsp; ditto on the error message (Error Opening Video File) lets just hope someone at Pinnacle picks up on it soon, although its not happening all the time just most of it, even with the same discs.

    Hi Bittman The import media seems to be ok in studio 12 I have imported several mpeg files no problems, I think there is an issue with the import of DVD titles, as I said before in this thread&nbsp; they import but double in time. Going back some time I think it was in v 10 there was the same problem but I can't seem to find the thread any more, ...

    Just checked the Activation keys and yes both the Dolby are there. I normally use Dolby 2 channel. Which had a problem in 11 till they brought out a patch! Just tried a 20min disc which was made on 11, which was a series of stills made into a movie imported ok with the right time ect, then tried another recorded tv program which was 1 hr 35 mins ...

    Has anyone else come across this problem? When I import a dvd into studio 12 it doubles the time scale ie a 60 min file now becomes 120mins but the picture freezes at about 45mins, So that you get about 75mins of a still frame. Never had this happen before in studio 11. I have tried with a disc that I imported sucessfully in 11. but it still ...
