Hi Saby,
Unfortunately, videos at 24fps absolute will eventually develop audio sync issues. 24fps is great for 16mm film but not so much for video. DivX works fine but I was wondering if there were new options. Is DivX still there? Thanks again!

Hi,
I am currently using Pinnacle Studio 16.1 and find the only way to export at 23.976 fps is using DivX Plus HD. Have they added any more export options at this frame rate in the current version? If not, is the DivX option still there?
Thanks for any assistance!
Best regards,
Dan

Hi,
I am using Pinnacle Studio 16.1 . Even using Smart mode it still only ripple edits the one track. I can use CTRL+Shift to move all the tracks but was wondering if there is an easier way. Thanks for your help!

Hi,
Can someone tell me how to insert a clip and have all tracks shuffle to the right, not just the track the clip was added to?
Thank you for your assistance.

Thanks for your response. So there isn't, and has never been, a way to properly render a file from cameras like the Canon HV20 or Panasonic GH1 that had pulldown removal applied to the video?
Thanks!

Is it possible with version 18 or greater to encode a video with the frame rate of 23.976 instead of 24fps absolute? I can' seem to do this with version 16. Thanks!

Hi jnn,
Sorry, I did not mean to contradict you. I am curious if these early version of 18 were compatible by design or by accident? Since they no longer work I would expect the later. I would love to find one of these compatible versions to try them out since I find Cineform files great to work with using other software. Hopefully, ...

Hi,
I am still using Avid Studio as well since the ability to edit Cineform AVIs, which is what I mostly use, was never added to later versions of Pinnacle Studio. If I have Cineform AVI files I render them as Sony XDCAM EX 35Mbps files which I can import into Avid Studio. These seem to work quite smoothly while retaining most of the ...

Hi,
Avid Studio 1 doesn't even work in Windows 8.1 without a registry edit. Hopefully, that same workaround will work with Windows 10.

One huge advantage of using a Digital 8 camera for the transfer of Hi8 and Video8 tapes is the built-in basic TBC and drop out corrector. This will give you a far superior transfer compared to capturing it from the original camera.
